In recent days, at the test track of the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Arese, Stellantis Heritage held the handover ceremony of the very first Alfa Romeo 4C Collezione GT “Nicola Larini.”
Conceived as part of the Reloaded by Creators program, this celebratory model pays tribute to a champion who left an indelible mark on Alfa Romeo’s racing history—winner of the 1993 DTM title at the wheel of the 155 V6 TI. The project foresees the creation of three unique examples based on the 4C, the brilliant compact sports coupé from the Biscione, which remains to this day a benchmark for agility, dynamics, and driving pleasure.
The highlight of the day was Nicola Larini’s return to the track at the wheel of the Alfa Romeo 4C Collezione GT “Nicola Larini” for a demonstration lap, before personally handing the keys to the car’s new owner—a gesture of strong symbolic value. It was a meeting of past and present, reaffirming the unbreakable bond between the Tuscan driver and the brand with which he wrote legendary chapters of motorsport history. The 4C Collezione GT “Nicola Larini” is not simply an exercise in style, but a true bridge to History.
The model delivered showcases the result of a journey that began months ago with sketches and renderings.
What stands out is the meticulous attention to detail, beginning with the livery developed by Alfa Romeo Centro Stile and designer Alessandro Maccolini, inspired by the legendary Giulia GT models of the 1960s and 1970s. The tone-on-tone finish of the bodywork and wheels evokes that glorious era, reinterpreted with contemporary elegance, while Larini’s autograph—applied on the hood, on the dashboard plaque, and embroidered on the seats—underscores the uniqueness of the project.
The racing spirit extends to the interior as well, with a dashboard trimmed in black microfiber to eliminate reflections, and black microfiber seats with body-color inserts, as well as a steering wheel sightline marker. The prominent Alfa Romeo emblem on the hood will be reprised, with slight variations, on the next two examples—further emphasizing the uniqueness of each of the three cars.
Like all creations of the Reloaded by Creators program, this 4C comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Stellantis Heritage – Alfa Romeo Classiche, presented to the customer by Alessandro Ravera, Special Vehicles Manager.
With today’s handover, the first of the three Alfa Romeo 4C Collezione GT “Nicola Larini” cars has become a reality. The journey will continue with two further models: following the “Giallo Ocra” version, the “Verde Pino” and “Rosso Prugna” cars will also be made available to collectors through Stellantis Heritage sales channels (heritage@stellantis.com).
