On Sunday, September 28, the charming village of Revigliasco Torinese will be transformed into an open-air salon of classic automobiles, hosting the fourth edition of the Festival Car Concours d’Elegance, organized by Autoappassionati.it in collaboration with the Revigliasco Pro Loco.
Established in 2022, the event has grown year after year, reaching a milestone of great prestige for the 2025 edition: its official inclusion in the FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) Premiere Event calendar, certifying its international standing.
The day will open with the Tour d’Elegance, a spectacular parade beginning at 9:00 a.m., when the 80 registered cars will gather at the Royal Castle of Moncalieri, a UNESCO World Heritage site and now a traditional starting point for the concours. From there, the cars will cross the scenic landscapes of the Turin Hills, offering the public a captivating journey along winding roads and evocative views, before reaching Revigliasco.
The winners of the concours will be determined by a jury of the highest caliber, composed of leading figures in international car design. Among the most anticipated names is Roberto Giolito, Head of Stellantis Heritage, a key figure in the safeguarding and promotion of Italy’s automotive heritage.
Among the most eagerly awaited participants will be the Lancia Flaminia Loraymo (1960), a unique example in the world belonging to the Stellantis Heritage collection and usually on display at the Heritage Hub in Turin. An authentic style icon, it was born from the creative genius of American designer Raymond Loewy, one of the most influential figures of the 20th century, famed for having created timeless icons such as the Coca-Cola bottle with its white script logo and the Lucky Strike emblem.
Loewy conceived the car for his personal use, entrusting its construction to the Turin coachbuilder Rocco Motto, with technical input from Nardi. The result was a futuristic coupé, with innovative aerodynamic solutions and a distinctive “smiling” grille. Presented at the 1960 Paris Motor Show, the car immediately drew attention for its avant-garde design, characterized by unconventional details and pioneering aerodynamic features.
After being used extensively by Loewy between Europe and the United States, the car returned to Italy thanks to the president of the Lancia Club of America, who chose to donate it back to the brand.
Since then, it has been preserved as one of the most precious jewels of the Heritage Hub in Turin, the exhibition space located within the former Officina 81 at Mirafiori, where more than 300 cars tell the story — and the future — of Italian motoring, enriching the “Concepts and Fuoriserie” section.
The Lancia Flaminia Loraymo will not only be present at the event but will also serve as its defining symbol: it features at the center of the official poster of Festival Car 2025, created in collaboration with IED Turin and selected through a dedicated competition. The winning image celebrates the unmistakable silhouette of the bespoke coupé, turning it into the visual manifesto of the festival. The same car was also chosen for a teaser video released on social media: following fine-tuning at the Officine Classiche, the Loraymo leaves the Heritage Hub in Mirafiori to set out for Revigliasco, previewing its role at the heart of the concours.
The participation of Stellantis Heritage at Festival Car further strengthens the deep bond between Piedmont and Lancia, a marque that will be the most represented in this edition with more than twenty examples on display. This presence pays tribute to the tradition and central role of the Turin brand in the history of the automobile, in its historic homeland, where tradition, innovation, and automotive passion continue to merge in a unique union.
Visitors will be able to admire the Loraymo alongside other masterpieces of world motoring displayed throughout the pedestrianized streets and squares of the village. A setting full of charm, evoking the magic of an era when the automobile was an ambassador of style and a vision of the future. With the participation of Stellantis Heritage and its Lancia Flaminia Loraymo, Festival Car 2025 reaffirms itself as an international stage of excellence and a celebration of a legacy that continues to inspire the future of the automobile.
