An all-Italian race
Verdi's native land, the masks of the Viareggio Carnival, the timeless charm of Rome, the legendary Futa and Raticosa passes in the Apennines, the unique light of Lake Garda and, of course, 400 stunning classic cars filing through some of the most picturesque locations in Italy.
As in previous years, the 1000 Miglia brings historic automotive heritage into contact with the artistic and cultural heritage of this beautiful country — they don't call Italy the “Bel Paese” for nothing!
The historical re-enactment of the “most beautiful race in the world”, as Enzo Ferrari called it, retains all the distinctive traits that made it famous: a route stretching over 1000 miles from Brescia to Rome and back, divided into four stages.
- First stage, 16 June: Brescia-Viareggio 289.53 km
- Second stage, 17 June: Viareggio-Rome 543.89 km
- Third stage, 18 June: Rome-Bologna 581.99
km
- Fourth stage, 19 June: Bologna-Brescia 304.40 km
