More than a century of Alfa Romeo excellence between history and innovation Paris, January 28, 2026 - February 1,2026
Due to take place in Paris from January 28 through February 1, Retromobile – now in its 50th year – is one of the most important classic car shows in the world. This year, it offers a busy schedule of events to satisfy enthusiasts in the field. Hosted at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the show has Alfa Romeo as one of its leading lights, together with the Stellantis Heritage department and the Alfa Romeo Classiche division, custodians of a heritage of Italian technical, sporting and stylistic excellence, still a source of inspiration for the brand’s future.
On display on the stand in Hall 7.2, three prestigious classic models and a car from the current line-up: all in red livery, always a color strongly linked to the creations of the Biscione brand, as well as the legendary hue of Italian racing cars. Specifically, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the fascinating Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider "Duetto" (1966) – celebrating its 60th anniversary this year – and the very rare Alfa Romeo 750 Competizione (1955), which remained in the prototype phase with only two units produced; and finally, the Alfa Romeo 33/2 Periscopica (1967), the forerunner of the “33” family. Alongside these rarities will also be the New Tonale, the evolution of the brand’s first C-SUV. It has evolved in terms of its character and sportiness, based on the refinement of its excellent dynamic qualities, meaning it can offer an exciting driving experience and its recognizable Alfa Romeo appeal.
As well as the cars on show, visitors to the Alfa Romeo stand will also have the opportunity to explore in depth the Alfa Romeo Classiche Program, the Stellantis Heritage initiative that aims to preserve, certify and enhance the brand's historical heritage.
Aimed at owners of historic and collector's cars, the program provides high-profile services, including issuing the Certificate of Origin based on consultation of the original production archives; the Certification of Authenticity, obtained through rigorous technical checks conducted by Heritage specialists; as well as restoration, maintenance and repair work carried out by the same team that takes care of the Group's prestigious corporate collection.
At Retromobile 2026, Alfa Romeo thus strongly reaffirms its unique identity on the international stage, forged in over a century of iconic models, sporting records, and commercial successes. An unparalleled human and industrial heritage, protected and promoted by Alfa Romeo with great pride: history is not just a legacy to be preserved but a vision that inspires the present and guides the future.
