Stage 2 is always one of celebrations. The race arrives in the Eternal City amid throngs of crowds and unforgettable scenery.
From the Bologna hills to the hairpin bends of the Raticosa and Futa passes, this is the stage for driving enthusiasts. The procession winds through Tuscany, passing medieval villages and locations the feature in the history of the region. They include the former Calamai factory in Prato, reopened for the event and a symbol of the city's textile tradition. The cars then pass Siena and its imposing Piazza del Campo. Finally, past Viterbo, the Freccia Rossa heads towards the capital, arriving right at the entrance to the elegant Via Veneto.
A route that combines the passion for driving with the charm of Italy's historical heritage.
