Fourth stage: the convoy drives up to Orvieto and then to Solomeo for lunch. After the break, it’s onwards to Siena, Prato and the challenging Futa and Raticosa passes before arriving in Bologna.

The 1000 Miglia resumes its course northwards with the crews reaching Orvieto before sojourning in Solomeo, a medieval Umbrian village, for a special lunch at Brunello Cucinelli's residence. In the afternoon, the re-enactment convoy continues towards Siena and Prato, coming to a halt in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna) after crossing the Futa and Raticosa mountain passes, in true homage to the original 1000 Miglia speed race.
